It’s our perception but it’s God’s reality
His brothers sold Joseph to slavery (their perception) but it was God who sent him ahead through the process (the reality)
They killed Jesus and ended his ambition to be king (their perception) but in reality it was actually Jesus who gave up his body to be crucified so that you and I can have life everlasting (the reality)
Job’s friends and even Job himself perceived that his suffering was a result of his sin (their perception), but it was a test of his faith that allowed God to bless him even more than before (the reality) (Job 42:10-17).
You gave your live to Christ (your perception) but in reality it was actually God that chose you to bear fruits and that your fruit may remain John 15;16KJV (the reality)
We are working out our salvation with fear and trembling Philippians 2:12 (KJV) by our efforts (our perception) but in reality it is God that is working in us to both to do of His will and of His good pleasure “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:5 (KJV) (the reality)
“Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” Matt 5;48 it is by our effort so we think (our perception), but in reality it is God by one sacrifice that has made us perfect forever (first a gift) those who are being made holy (then followed by a daily transformation) (the reality).
